Conversion and extension of the existing EDEKA® in Steinhagen, Mühlenstr.

The original building from 1909, a linen weaving mill, was rebuilt several times.
First built in 1981 for use as retail space.
Further conversions followed.

In order to transform the existing building into a modern retail outlet, this building will be completely renovated and transformed into a contemporary, technically energy-efficient building, incorporating other uses in the building complex.

As a result, the sales area is enlarged, the bakery is planned with a light-flooded seating area and the entrance is redesigned as a modern steel and glass construction with sun protection lamellas as well as new administration + technical rooms on the upper floor at the back of the building.
