Construction of a LIDL market in Castrop-Rauxel, Wartburgstraße 217 + 219

1-storey building with pitched roof without basement.

Designed as a skeleton construction with reinforced concrete supports and glulam trusses as roof support structure. The exterior walls are made of masonry with external and internal plaster, the facade cladding of aluminum composite panels. The pult roof was constructed with a foil insulation on mineral wool insulation and steel trapezoidal sheet metal.

A LIDL and a sales vault on a partial lot were demolished.
By acquiring the neighbouring property, a new building was built according to modern standards and specifications of the tenant, taking into account the latest energy findings.
Expansion options for the sales area within the building were taken into account during planning.
